Resumption of the visa-free regime for citizens of Russia and Kazakhstan!
Information on the issuance of an electronic entry permit to the Republic of Korea for citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
By decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from 04/01/2022 00:00 for 25 countries, including the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, the suspension of the visa-free regime introduced in connection with the spread of COVID-19 is cancelled.
From April 1, 2022, citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan can enter the Republic of Korea without a visa by issuing an electronic entry permit (K-ETA).

For foreign nationals arriving in Korea after April 1, 2022

From March 21, 2022, foreign citizens arriving in Korea (with the exception of citizens of Vietnam, Ukraine and Myanmar) are exempted from undergoing a 7-day quarantine, provided that they:

- have received two or three doses of WHO-approved vaccines for COVID-19;

- registered the history of vaccinations against COVID-19 received abroad, in the appropriate order in the territory of Korea.

Attention! After receiving the second dose of the vaccine, at least 14 days and no more than 180 days must pass.

 

WHO-approved vaccines: Moderna, Pfizer, Janssen (Johnson&Johnson), AstraZeneca, Novavax, Chinese Sinopharm and Sinovac, Indian Covaxin and Covishield, and Covovax.

  • I would like to come to Korea for treatment. What are my actions?
    You can send a request in any form, in which you indicate your last name, first name, diagnosis, symptoms, medications taken, and attach medical documents (images, extracts) for the main diagnosis. Documents can be sent to patients@wowvos.co.kr
  • I would like to undergo a comprehensive checkup diagnostics. What are my actions?
    First you need to choose a diagnostic program that suits you. When choosing a program, you need to consider: age, medical history that you have, family history, disturbing symptoms. The program can be selected under the heading "Diagnostics Check-up in Korea".
  • Do you help with obtaining a medical visa before traveling to Korea?
    Yes. We help to collect a package of documents for applying for a medical visa.
  • Is a shuttle provided?
    Yes. We provide transfer from and to the airport.
  • Where will I be staying during my stay in Korea?
    We will help you choose the most suitable option for you, taking into account the proximity to the hospital, the cost and type of hotel (regular hotels, hotels with a kitchen, etc.). For stays longer than 1 month, an apartment rental option may be considered. Photo of a one-room studio apartment with a double bed. The apartment has a refrigerator, air conditioner, washing machine, electric stove, extractor hood, electric kettle, rice cooker, table, clothes dryer, wardrobes.
  • Will I be provided with an interpreter during my treatment in Korea?
    A medical interpreter will accompany you to the hospital. Medical interpreting services are free. In other cases (in a shop, cafe, hotel, etc.), you can contact one of our employees by phone who will help you.
  • Can I extend my medical visa while in Korea?
    If you need more time for treatment, we can help you extend your medical visa.
  • How is payment for treatment in Korean hospitals made?
    You can pay for treatment either in cash (won) or non-cash. The following cards are accepted for payment: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro. For convenience, we recommend that you carry a small amount of dollars with you, which can be exchanged at any of the hospitals.
  • Do you organize tourist excursions for patients?
    Yes. For our patients, we organize paid sightseeing tours on personal transport.
  • Are there cafes of Russian and Central Asian cuisine in Korea?
    Yes. There are several such cafes in Korea. They are located in areas where many foreigners live.
  • Is it possible to connect to the Internet everywhere in Korea?
    Yes. There are many free Wi-Fi hotspots in public places in Korea: cafes, shopping malls, subways, airports, hospitals, etc. For those who wish, we can help you purchase a local SIM card.
  • If I have questions for the doctor after completing the treatment and returning home, how can I contact him?
