Gyeongbuk National University Hospital is making every effort to develop in the field of medical education, research and treatment as the only public university hospital in Daegu Medi-city in the Republic of Korea.
Gyeongbuk National University Hospitals was founded as a medical complex on behalf of the Emperor of Korea in 1907 with the aim of developing medicine; Currently, the hospital consists of the main building, which includes the Regional Center for Emergency Medicine, the Regional Trauma Center, the Regional Center for Cardiocerebrovascular Diseases, as well as the main Chilgok building, which houses the Elderly Health and Welfare Center and the Children's Hospital.

In addition, our hospital is the only regional hospital besides Seoul and municipal institutions that actively contributes to the development of medicine through research activities, at the moment, the construction of the Clinical Training Department is underway, which will enable the training of personnel serving 700 beds, thus the hospital is successfully fulfills its mission in the field of medical practice.
