Arthroscopy

Артроскопия

Arthroscopy is a surgical manipulation that allows you to examine in detail the internal structures of the joints using an endoscope. It is carried out for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

Types of arthroscopy : arthroscopy of the shoulder joint (damage to the rotator cuff, adhesive capsulitis, calcific tendinitis), arthroscopy of the knee joint (rupture of the meniscus, degenerative arthritis, rupture of the cruciate ligament), arthroscopy of the wrist joint, etc.

Indications for arthroscopy of the knee joint: no pathology according to the results of radiography despite constant pain, frequent accumulation of fluid in the knee joint, pulling pain in the popliteal fossa or inability to straighten the leg, fatigue and pain when walking.

Cost : 6.500.000 - 7.500.000 won

Endoprosthetics of the knee joint

It is carried out in case of wear of the knee joint as a result of inflammation or injury. Both partial and complete joint replacements are possible. When determining the scope of the operation, the patient's condition is taken into account.

Indications for surgery: arthritis of the knee joints, bone necrosis, impossibility of cartilage tissue regeneration due to degenerative joint damage, severe pain and associated functional limitations.

Cost: 16,500,000 - 17,500,000 won (one knee)
               25.500.000 - 26.500.000 won (both knees)

Endoprosthetics of the hip joint

Endoprosthesis replacement is a partial or complete replacement of a worn out hip joint to restore motor function and reduce pain.

The warranty period of the endoprosthesis is on average 20 years.

Indications for surgery: coxarthritis, hip dysplasia, congenital dislocation of the hip, injuries, infections, etc.

Cost: 15.500.000 - 16.500.000 won

Treatment of joints with stem cells

Restorative therapy of damaged cartilage using stem cells is a procedure during which stem cells are injected into the patient's joint to promote the regeneration of damaged cartilage tissue.

Indications for therapy are degenerative arthritis and joint diseases associated with cartilage damage.

Since cartilage tissue does not contain blood vessels and nerves, if it is damaged or degenerative changes, it cannot regenerate itself.

The advantage of stem cell treatment is minimal skin incisions and quick recovery. Also, this therapy is effective for patients older than 50 years.

Indications for therapy are degenerative arthritis and joint diseases associated with cartilage damage.
